Contemporary People is an ongoing portrait series that captures the creative identities of writers, artists, and cultural practitioners today. Focusing on multiple generations, the project looks at how individuals in the arts navigate and express themselves in a rapidly changing world. The series explores how artistic labor manifests in everyday gestures, expressions, and presence. It features individuals from Serbia, Macedonia, and beyond, reflecting the diversity of contemporary creative voices across disciplines.

The latter part of the project presents portraits of Macedonian poets, created for a poetry book pairing their work with these photographs. The project highlights the connection between literary expression and visual interpretation, offering an intimate view of those shaping today’s cultural landscape.
